Churches

Many pretty churches can be found in the centre of Ypres. The Saint-Martin's Cathedral is the most impressive with its 100 m high tower.

Another remarkable church is definitely the Saint-George's Memorial Church . The Anglican Church reminds of the presence of British troops and British civilians during and after the First World War.

The  Saint James' Church on the Gezelleplein and the Saint Peter's Church in the Rijselstraat are also definitely worth a visit.
